PSU Phuket strengthens ethics and good governance to enhance organizational transparency
Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus, through its Human Resources Management and Development Unit, organized the 2026 Ethics, Good Governance, and Anti-Corruption Workshop on June 19, 2026, at the Ket Ho Conference Room, Office of the President Building. The program aimed to strengthen ethical awareness, promote good governance, and reinforce transparency among university executives and personnel.
The workshop brought together university administrators, academic staff, and support personnel to enhance their understanding of ethical standards, integrity, and accountable public service.
The keynote session was delivered by Assistant Professor Mongkhol Malyarom, Assistant President for Legal Affairs, who shared practical insights on ethical standards, transparent governance, and anti-corruption measures. Participants were encouraged to apply these principles in their daily responsibilities to ensure fair, accountable, and transparent operations.
The program also introduced participants to the Integrity and Transparency Assessment (ITA) 2026, a national framework used to evaluate transparency and ethical governance within public organizations. The session highlighted how ITA results can help improve organizational performance, strengthen public services, and reinforce institutional accountability.
In addition, the workshop provided opportunities for participants to exchange ideas, discuss practical challenges, and strengthen their shared commitment to integrity, responsibility, transparency, and serving the public interest.
The initiative forms part of Prince of Songkla University's ongoing efforts to advance its Integrity and Transparency Assessment (ITA) and reflects the Phuket Campus's commitment to strengthening good governance, enhancing organizational efficiency, and fostering a workplace culture that rejects corruption in all forms.
