PSU strengthens integrity and transparency through Good Governance initiative

Prince of Songkla University (PSU), through its Office of Legal Affairs, organized a two-day workshop titled "Strengthening Integrity and Transparency in University Operations" from June 25–26, 2026, at Rua Rasada Hotel, Trang Province. The program aimed to enhance personnel's understanding of ethical conduct, transparency, and good governance while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

The workshop encouraged both academic and support staff to recognize their responsibilities as university personnel and to carry out their duties with integrity, accountability, and professionalism. It also emphasized the importance of transparent, efficient, and accountable administration across all areas of the university.

The program covered key topics in university governance, including human resource management, financial and procurement administration, budget management, and the legal and regulatory frameworks governing university operations. Participants gained practical knowledge to help ensure that their work aligns with established policies and governance principles.

In addition, the workshop promoted ethical values, honesty, and accountability while reinforcing the university's commitment to preventing and combating corruption in all forms. Participants also joined a symbolic campaign demonstrating their collective commitment to fostering an organizational culture that rejects corruption.

A key highlight of the initiative was the promotion of PSU's "No Gift Policy," which encourages all personnel to refrain from accepting gifts or benefits in connection with their official duties. The policy aims to minimize conflicts of interest and strengthen public confidence in the university's governance.

This initiative reflects Prince of Songkla University's ongoing commitment to enhancing transparency, accountability, and good governance while fostering an ethical organizational culture that supports excellence in education, research, innovation, and sustainable service to society.
