PSU joins Songkhla Employment Office to host JOB FAIR 2026, expanding career opportunities and preparing the workforce for the future
Prince of Songkla University, in collaboration with the Songkhla Provincial Employment Office, hosted JOB FAIR 2026 @Songkhla from June 26–27, 2026, at the Convention Hall, PSU International Convention Center, Hat Yai Campus. The event was designed to connect new graduates, job seekers, persons with disabilities, senior citizens, and members of the public with employers and career opportunities.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Santi Nantasuwan, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Labour, and attended by Ms. Wannawanat Tanyong, Head of the Songkhla Provincial Employment Office, Associate Professor Dr. Monthira Tanthanuch, Assistant to the President for Student Well-being, Prince of Songkla University, along with university executives, heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour, labour volunteers, labour graduates, members of the Social Security Network, representatives from business establishments, and members of the public, all of whom participated in large numbers.
More than 70 leading companies participated in the fair, offering over 2,000 job vacancies across a wide range of industries. Visitors had the opportunity to apply for positions and interview directly with employers, making the event a valuable platform for both new graduates and experienced job seekers.
In addition to recruitment activities, the fair featured career development programs, including virtual career exploration exhibitions, vocational skill demonstrations, and a special seminar titled "The Hybrid Worker: Mastering Work, People, and Technology – Essential Skills for 2026," highlighting the competencies required in today's evolving job market.
Participants also had access to personality assessments for career planning, English proficiency testing for employment, overseas employment registration services, unemployment benefit registration, and career counseling provided by both public and private organizations.
Assistant Professor Dr. Monthira Tanthanuch emphasized that Prince of Songkla University is committed to serving society by creating opportunities for collaboration between educational institutions, government agencies, industry partners, and the wider community. He noted that the event reflects the university's mission to develop high-quality human resources, foster innovation, and encourage entrepreneurship.
