Measure the reuse of water across the university.
Prince of Songkla University measures the volume of treated wastewater that is reused for suitable non-potable purposes as part of its sustainable water-management programme.
In 2025, PSU measured 3,914.77 cubic metres of treated wastewater reused for landscape irrigation, including irrigation of the University football field. The University also harvests and reuses rainwater and surface runoff for landscape and agricultural purposes, with additional reuse volumes being consolidated for university-wide reporting.
PSU also captures rainwater and surface runoff through drainage and collection systems. The collected water is directed to storage facilities and is used, where appropriate, for agricultural activities and landscape irrigation.
The University is expanding its measurement of reused water to include different water-reuse streams, including treated wastewater and harvested rainwater, in order to strengthen university-wide monitoring and reporting.

Reuse of Treated Wastewater for Landscape Irrigation
Treated wastewater is reused for irrigating the University football field, reducing the use of potable water for landscape maintenance.
